Frequently asked
Does voice tracking need an internet connection?
No. Recognition runs on-device and works fully offline. You only need a connection to download a language model the first time, or to sync a connected source.
Which languages are supported?
Russian, English and Spanish today, plus the languages your device’s built-in recognition supports. Recognition runs on-device and is free to use.
How do I connect Notion?
In Sources, connect your Notion workspace and pick a page to mirror read-only. Your team edits in Notion; Whisprompt always shows the latest version. (Connected online sources are a Pro feature.)
Does it work with a remote?
Whisprompt works with the Neewer RT113 wireless remote for page and pause, and the on-screen controls are always available. Support for additional remotes can be added on request. Second-device / web remote control is in development.
How do I manage or cancel my subscription?
On iOS: Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Whisprompt. On Android: Google Play → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions. You can also request a refund through your store. See the Terms of Use.
How is my privacy protected?
Your audio and scripts stay on your device, and we sell no data. The app can measure how well it performs, but only if you let it: nothing is measured until you say yes, each device asks once — after you have actually used it, not at first launch — and a no is final on that device, not a question repeated next week. If you did say yes, the switch is at Settings → Usage data, at any time, no reason needed, and turning it off takes no more taps than turning it on did. Turning it off also stops the measuring on your other linked devices, the next time they are connected; turning it on starts it on the device you turned it on and on no other. The measurements never carry a word of what you write or say. They do say which locked feature sent you to the subscription screen and how a purchase or a restore ended, but never a price, a receipt or a payment detail. And they are not anonymous, which we would rather say than let you assume otherwise: the measurements from an installation carry one lasting random identifier of their own, created only when you allow the measuring and replaced at most thirteen months after that, and it is not your subscription’s identifier, which is never sent with a measurement. Your devices are counted separately unless you tell us to count them as one person — a separate question, answered once for the devices on your subscription rather than on each of them, and one that changes only the identifier and nothing about what is measured. The shared identifier only reaches a device where you have allowed the measuring. Details in the Privacy Policy.
