Terms of Use
Last updated: 21 June 2026
These Terms govern your use of the Whisprompt app (“the App”) and this website. By downloading or using the App you agree to them. The App is provided by Leonid Kabanov (autónomo), Spain (“we”, “us”). For full identification see the Imprint.
1. Licence
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the App on devices you own or control. On Apple devices this is in line with the Apple Media Services Terms and the standard Apple Licensed Application End User License Agreement (EULA), which applies in addition to these Terms; where they conflict on Apple-specific points, the Apple EULA prevails. On Android devices the Google Play Terms of Service apply in addition to these Terms.
2. Subscriptions, free trial and one-time purchase
- Free tier. Core teleprompter features, on-device voice tracking, all languages and recognition models are free to use.
- Whisprompt Pro. An auto-renewing subscription that unlocks additional features such as mirror/invert modes, connected online sources (for example Notion) and watermark-free export. A free trial may be offered to new subscribers.
- Billing. Payment is charged to your Apple Account or Google Play account at confirmation of purchase, at the price and period shown at that moment. The subscription renews automatically for the same period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the current period ends.
- Trial. If you do not cancel before any trial ends, it converts to a paid subscription. Buying Pro forfeits any unused trial.
- Manage / cancel. Manage or cancel anytime in your store account settings (App Store or Google Play). Deleting the App does not cancel a subscription.
- Lifetime. A one-time “Lifetime” purchase unlocking Pro features may also be offered.
- Prices may vary by region and over time; the exact amount is always displayed before you confirm.
3. Right of withdrawal (EU consumers)
For digital purchases, the app store (Apple or Google) is the merchant of record. Refunds and the statutory right of withdrawal are handled by the store under its media-services terms; request a refund via Apple’s “Report a Problem” page or Google Play’s refund process. By starting to use paid digital content immediately you may consent to begin performance before the 14-day withdrawal period ends, which can limit that right as permitted by EU law.
4. Acceptable use
Use the App lawfully. Do not reverse-engineer (except as permitted by mandatory law), resell, or use the App to infringe others’ rights. You are responsible for the content of your scripts and any recordings you make.
5. Third-party services and hardware
Optional integrations (such as Notion) and compatible hardware accessories (such as wireless remotes) are provided by third parties under their own terms. Trademarks belong to their owners; compatibility does not imply affiliation or endorsement.
6. Disclaimer & liability
The App is provided “as is”. On-device speech recognition accuracy varies with audio conditions, accent, language and the recognition model. To the extent permitted by law, we exclude implied warranties; nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law (including your mandatory consumer rights). We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss.
7. Changes & governing law
We may update these Terms; material changes will be posted here. These Terms are governed by the laws of Spain, without prejudice to the mandatory consumer-protection rules of your country of residence in the EU.
